How quickly will my jewellery order be shipped?
All of our jewellery is ready made and will be shipped within 1 business day of placing your order (unless you have also ordered a photo gift).
How long does it take to make my personalised piece?
Our production time to make your piece is between 3-5 business days + postage. If you need your item urgently, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate.
How do I know if my selected photo is suited to the piece?
Don't worry, if we believe your image is not suited to the piece you have ordered we will be in touch to discuss options and alternatives.
Why is wood grain visible under the photo?
This is what gives your pieces its rustic charm, we transfer your images onto wood by hand which allows the natural wood grain to show through.
Will my image change colour once printed on wood?
Depending on the piece you select there may be a slight colour change once printed on the wood when compared to printing a photo out or looking at it on a screen. This is because we are putting your photo on a light brown base as opposed to a bright white one. Any parts of your image that are white be the natural colour of the wood on your finished piece.
Why don't you send proofs?
As our pieces are handmade and every piece of wood is a slightly different shape we do not send proofs before printing (unless requested). If you have a specific concept in mind or want to ensure a certain part of your image is not cropped out, please ensure you specify this at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate.
If you would like to receive a proof prior to us printing your piece, please send through your request when placing your order and we will happily accommodate.
Caring for your piece
Our wood slice photo gifts are are all printed on natural wood slices, this is what makes your piece so special! All of our wood is sustainably sourced, dried, sanded smooth and uncracked. As this is a natural piece of wood, although unlikely we cannot guarantee it will not crack over time. We recommend keeping away from heat (eg. do not display over a fireplace or heater) and direct sunlight to avoid possible cracking and fading over time.
Every piece is finished with a coat of matt varnish and can be gently wiped clean with a damp cloth.
